Throughout the years we have gained great experience of designing and manufacturing hydraulic cylinders for many different applications.
1990: The start
Melin & Carlsson Hydraulic AB was started in 1990 by Jan Olov Melin, Ola Melin och Stig Carlsson, all with a background in the hydraulic cylinder industry.
1994: Strong growth
Thanks to an important agreement with a world-leading front loader manufacturer, we grew sharply and quadrupled sales.
2001: An important cooperation
Our collaboration with world-leading sideloader manufacturer Hammar Maskin AB was initiated.
2012: generational change
Ola Melins is appointed CEO and initiates the work focusing on growth, product quality and shortened lead times.
2013: Intensified environmental and quality work
We were environmentally certified according to ISO 140001. We introduced welding certification in accordance with ISO 3834-2. The same year we built a new test room where we measure the performance of our cylinders.
2020: Ambitious goals
As one of Sweden’s leading cylinder manufacturers, we strive to achieve a turnover of SEK 100 million in 2020.
